Palmyra, NY

We took Megan to Palmyra, New York.  It was the first time for our whole family.  It was so beautiful and we really enjoyed it.  It made me wonder why it took us so long to go.

The first night I took Megan and we did baptisms for the dead.

The next day Megan watched the girls while Sam and I did initiatory, then we went on a tour of the Smith homestead and the sacred grove.

This is the Smith's first log house.

These are pictures from inside the framed house just down the road from the first house.

Then we stopped in the visitors center at the Hill Cumorah for a few minutes, and saw the Christus statue.

We had a great, but fast trip to Palmyra.  I am excited to go back and have more time to do explore some more.  It was so beautiful there.
