The adventure just kept rolling while I was in Boise. I had my 10 year high school reunion. It really was a great night and I had so much fun seeing people I haven't seen in 10 years
Stephanie German, Me, and Cassiopia Hess Evans
These girls were my first friends. They grew up across the street from me. I have so many memories of dress up and sleep overs with them!
I was also able to go to the baby shower of one of my best friends from high school. Suzi Tulis Grompone.
Eloise
Eloise and Suzi.
While we were in Boise Grandma Susie and Grandpa A.J. took all the grandkids that could go to the BFG
And I took the kiddos to the cabin in McCall twice. Once with Sam's siblings and their kids, and once with my family.
Miss Pearl wasn't a huge fan of the bunk room with all the cousins, so she ended up in my bed every night!
Karen
Lilly and Lucy
Grace running off the dock
Tony found a seat in the boat that wouldn't work.
Grace taking it for a pretend drive.
On the 4th of July we drove home from McCall and the girls and I went with my parents to the park downtown to watch the fire works.
Grace had a very loose tooth, which was good because the adult tooth was right behind it. ....and that's not a cavity in her other tooth, its oreo. So I should say, it's not a cavity, yet.
Lilly imitating Pearl crying.
She's pretty hilarious
Lilly also came up with the "cutest way for us to pose"....but I didn't always do it right and needed a bit of coaching!
I guess I'm pretty hilarious too!
Grace wiggled her tooth all night. And was determined to lose it on the 4th of July.
So when we got home we tried the ole tie floss around the tooth and pull trick.
she pulled
and pulled
and pulled
and then decided she couldn't do it. So we asked grandpa to untie it for her.
And he popped it right out! ;)
tears of shock and joy!
that night the tooth fairy brought her dollar bills in the shape of stars.
Tarra, Me, Cassi, Jasmine, and Angeline
I was able to see my friend Cassi a couple times while I was in Boise, and one time was at this play-date with some other girl friends from high school. Angeline and Suzi Tullis and I spend our whole senior year together. And Jasmine is Cassi's little sister. Cassi and I used to try to poison her when we were little.
Before I left for Boise, Susie and I went to Verna's fabrics here in PA and picked out fabric for two baby girl quilts. Ellie, Susie and my mom helped me put them all together, and then Ellie and Susie did the long arm quilting on them.
Ellie, Melissa, and Sherri
The final product. Cute, huh??
We went swimming a few times at the country club too. The girls love it there and Lilly was determined to learn how to dive, so a lot of her older cousins helped try to teach her.
Pearl met a mermaid and was totally star stuck
Lilly starting to dive...usually ended in a cartwheel!!
Lilly, Bryson, and Cameron trying to teach her.
Collin and Pearl had a great time playing together.
We also took a day and went out to Bruneau to visit my Grandma Hegerhorst
She took the girls to see the big tractors
Every year we try to get a decent picture of my grandma with my girls, but we haven't succeeded yet.
We met my Aunt Elaine and Cousin's at Eagle Island State Park. We had never been there before and it was fun to explore.
My cousin Corrine with her youngest
We also had a cousin camp at the Balukoff's. My mom was really sick that day from her chemo treatment so I stayed with her most of the day and cleaned house for her. But I went for dinner and got to see everyone.
Keagan, Dallin, Grandma Wendy, Pearl
Lilly, Grandma Susie, Pearl, and Grace
story time before bed.
We made french bread out of this basque bread.
snow-cones with cousins!

Back in McCall with Hegerhorst family

Bethany, and Dallin and Grace
Pearl and Grandma sunning her "ball head!" as Pearl liked to call it.
Uncle Trenton and Bethany
roasting marshmellows.
Bethany loves marshmellows!!
double decker
Rick, Elaine, Kris, Diane, and their 4 girls and baby boy came up for a few days also!
Pearl and I saw a deer outside our bedroom window. She really didn't understand why she couldn't go out and hug it.
Kurt came from Texas. it was so nice to see him and spend time with him.
we had fun playing games every night.
Our last day Diane and I realized we were dressed like twins, so we had to take a picture, and her little boy had matching shorts too!
Grace, Lilly, Pearl, and Kurt on the swing.
My mom bought tickets for all of us to go to the Idaho Stampede. It was really fun.
Our last adventure was having a bonfire with Grandpa and roasting marshmallows!
We really had a great time in Boise again. We did so much and were able to see so many friends and family. The girls ask me all the time when it will be summer again so we can go back again!
