Camping at World's End State Park

The week before school started Sam and I took the girls camping at World's End State Park.
We rented a little one room cabin and had a blast hiking, fishing, and swimming in the river.  It was so beautiful and peaceful there, but the best part was that we didn't have any cell phone reception!!  So Sam couldn't get calls all day for work or Bishop stuff!!  Ah-Mazing!

This is a collage of all the amazing different mushrooms we found on our hikes.

Sam was great at getting everyone set up and going, and then fixing their snags and tangles, and re-baiting the hooks, and then starting all over again!  Fishing isn't exactly relaxing when you take 3 little girls, but we all had a good time.

Lilly gave up with the pole for a while and decided to just use the net.

Pearl's First Fish

Pearl thought fishing was pretty relaxing.  She would make me "hold" her pole for her, then come back and grab it if I caught anything.

Lilly's first fish

Grace finally got one!

Lilly is grabbing a fish specimen book that Sam bought her at a used book store we stopped at.  She really wanted it and had a fun time looking through to figure out what type of fish we were catching.

Right as we were getting ready to pack up Lilly caught our biggest fish of the day!  She was so excited!

Cooking dinner at our fire pit.

Pearl walked with me to take the garbage and she carried this one for me to recycle.

The three girls shared one bed, and Sam and I were on the other side.

On our last day we went on a really great hike.

And the girls loved swimming in the river

Pearl gave me a cute little dance in her towel dress that she thought was so beautiful.

We had such a wonderful relaxing time camping.  And this is coming from a girl that does not like to camp!!
