Pearl's First Day Home

Pearl and I came home on May 2nd.  The girl's were excited to have us home, and we were excited to be there!

Once we got settled in Grace insisted on holding Pearl every chance she could.

 When I got home there was a package waiting for me from my Grandma Hegerhorst.  She sent me two cocoons for Pearl.  She slides in and loves it in there!

Lilly was never too far away from Pearl's side either!  She kept watching her and copying any sound Pearl would make and all of her faces. Every few minutes Lilly would say, "Mamma, she went like this...!" Or "Mamma, she sounds like this...."  It was really funny! 

Bed time came before we knew it and Lilly who usually asks for Sam or I to sleep with her (we don't, but we sometimes lay down with her for a few minutes) asked for Baby Pearl instead.  She thought it was awesome when we actually put her in there for a minute!

Things have been going well since.  I'm so happy to be home.  Pearl and I have had a couple long nights together, but we are starting for figure each other out, and I'm hopeful that our nights will get shorter soon!
