Lilly's Birthday Celebration

You may not remember, but last year for Lilly's first birthday we were in Duluth, and kind of spaced getting a cake or anything for her big day.  I felt like a terrible mom, but at least we found a doughnut hole in the lobby of our hotel.  We sang her Happy Birthday and she got to dig in.  Honestly, it was the perfect size, and she loved it.

So, in keeping with tradition I decided that we would have doughnuts again this year for Lilly's second birthday!!  And for convenience sake I kept her in the same outfit too!!

thank you Kirsten for teaching my girls to pose for every picture!!

 Lilly's birthday "cake"

 She loved it!!

Can't you tell?

Lilly's birthday present.

Grace kept reminding Lilly that she had to share her presents!!

I love this girl!  She has so much spunk and spirit and always keeps me on my toes, but I can't get enough of  her.
 Some birthday love.

After we cleaned up, we loaded in the car and drove to Philadelphia.  Kirsten was flying home the next day, so we decided to make a weekend out of it.

These next couple pictures are from our hotel room.  After we were done swimming and ready for bed I remembered we had a couple other little presents for Lilly. So she unwrapped them on our bed.

She was so funny opening her gifts.  She would tear off a tiny piece and give it to Sam, each time saying, "Here you go, Daddy."

Before we got to our hotel we went to the King of Prussia Mall.  The second biggest mall in America.  We found this great play area and the girls had a blast playing while Sam and Kirsten did a little peaceful browsing.

We really had a great day!  We love our Lilly Monster so much, even if she is a handful, she knows how to make each day an adventure!!  Love you Lilly Bug!

It's so weird to me that Lily is 2. Seriously...what happened to the last 2 years? Your kids are beautiful. We miss you. I hope you love your new house! Come back to Boise soon so we can see you!

So adorable that Lilly. And who is that guy all clean shaven and clean cut? Looks like Geisinger has shaped him up in no time! Miss you all.
