Chicago ACHE 2014

Sam had his ACHE conference in Chicago, and since my parents were with us in PA we left the girls with them and I went with Sam to Chicago.  It was pretty cold while we were there, but we still had a great time.

The first day we were there I rented a car and drove out to Janesville, Wisconsin to visit Kinley Ricks and Jaci Udy.  We had lunch at the Olive Garden and we had a fun time catching up with each other!

When I got back that evening we went with some friends to a Chicago Bulls game.  We had so much fun.  Sam and I have been to a lot of different professional sporting events, and I am usually pretty bored.  I was surprised how much fun I had watching basketball.  Even though our seats weren't amazing we still had a blast.

nachooooooo!

The rest of the week we had fun with friends eating at yummy places and checking out the city.
Aline, Alex, Cody Mangum, Alisha and Sam

Nathan Gladwell, Sam, Cody Mangum, & Sean McCleary

Corey and Kinley drove into the city and had dinner with us our last night there.  We went to Gino's East for some deep dish pizza and then did some shopping on the Millennial Mile.

 Corey, Olaf, Sam

Corey has collected Jordan's ever since I can remember. It was fun to see him drooling over this case of shoes.

 Sam, Sean, Nate and Cody.
At Micheal Jordan's Steakhouse.

 Catherine, Sam's coworker.

Sam and his buddies car shopping....
 and drooling.

There were a lot of really cool buildings in Chicago, but one of my favorites was the Chicago Tribune building.  It has parts and pieces of all different buildings and structures from around the world build into the facade of the building.  It took a picture of some of the things I liked.

We really had a great time in Chicago and I can't wait to go back again.
