Sam loves having a real Christmas tree in the house so much he insisted that we get one BEFORE Thanksgiving. I am pretty strict with my 'No Christmas Before Thanksgiving' rule, but I let this one slide! He was just so excited!
Around her in PA there are a ton of trees everywhere...but there are hardly any pine trees. So they have Christmas tree farms all over the place.
We just went, grabbed a saw and a cart and went hunting for the perfect tree!

Grace had a blast picking out the tiny trees that could fit in her room....Sam surprised her a couple days later with a small one just for her an Lilly!
And Lilly had fun trying to catch the bears and finding sticks to die the bears with.
At least we knew we always know we will be protected with Lilly around!
And I finally got what I wanted!
We love our tree.
