Pearl's Blessing

Pearl was blessed by her daddy July 7, 2013.  It was a beautiful blessing and a wonderful day. 

During the blessing I heard a baby crying and I thought to myself, "Why doesn't that babies parents take them outside! This is a special moment for my family."  And then I realized..."Oh, that's my baby!"  Pearl cried for most of her blessing.  She had hick-ups inside of me ALL the time, and I always said she was going to have a set of lungs on her!  And she decided to prove me right to the whole congregation!

Our really good friends the Pitcavage's blessed their baby the same day as us.  I thought it was so special that these two little girls got to share their day together!

I was really sad when I realized we would be blessing our little girl without any family around us, but we were in luck and Sam's brother and his family flew out the same week we wanted to bless her and they were able to be here with us for it!

I love my little girl!

 Grace put two little heart stickers on  Pearl's head right before sacrament meeting was over.  I thought they were pretty cute so we left them there!

And he loves you almost as much as I do!
