Grace's 2nd Birthday

Grace's Birthday was on Saturday. She is 2 years old. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. She is becoming such a character. She is always putting on a show for people, saying hi to anyone she sees, and goes goes goes all day long! She is always making us laugh, and coping everything we do. We have to convince her that it's nap time and bed time. She sleeps really well, but never wants to miss out on any of the excitement around the house. She has the sweetest smile, and gives the best hugs and kisses. We love her so much, and are so grateful to have this little angel in our family. For her birthday, Sam and I took Grace to the Nature Center. I had never been there before, but it was really cool, and FREE! Grace loved having our attention all afternoon, and Grandma Wendy loved babysitting Lilly. (thanks mom!)

The Nature Center has a huge 7 foot sturgen. It was amazing!

Not the best picture of us, but it was the only one we got together.

Grace didn't really get the idea of the owl faces...but it was really cute anyways!

She loved that we kept singing Happy Birthday to her. And she kept singing along at the end too, it was so funny.

That evening before bedtime. My 3 favorite people!

We couldn't find the cat that evening and went in Graces room to see if she was in there, and this is how we found her. If Grace only knew she would have been in heaven. She loved this cat so much!

Sunday we had grandparents over along with Uncle Kurt and Aunt Christina for Cake and Ice Cream. I won this cake at a service auction my mom's relief society did. I saved it for Grace's birthday knowing I would have a baby very close to it and probably wouldn't be in the mood to bake all day. But I'm so happy I got them, the were so adorable. Grace loves Mickey, and she thought this cake was the best thing ever.

My mom got her a Mickey movie. Grace was thrilled.
of course she loves the box most. It became her hat!The ballerina shirt I got her in Banff, but I saved it for her birthday.

My mom made her a baby blanket for her doll that matched one she made for Lilly. Grace has been playing with it all day long today, she loves that she has a baby too!
