Disney Cruise Day 2.

I love this boat. Especially when it isn't moving. When it is moving, no one gets sick (thank goodness) but we can feel it. It makes me feel like I have spun around in 20 fast twirls and then try to walk in a straight line. Is this what being drunk feels like? If so, I'm glad I have never tried it!

Today we docked in Nassau. I am not a fan. The minute we steppes off the dock we were bombarded with locals trying to hustle us for a ride. They were actually pretty nice and friendly, but I thought it was annoying. Grace and Lilly got a hair wrap in their hair and only had to pay an arm and an leg for it! Seriously the amount I payed for two hair wraps was the more than I charge for a full head of color. Crazy.
We also took a horse and buggy ride. I thought this was going to be a bad idea and a waste of money, but it actually turned out to be pretty cool. We got to see parts of the island we otherwise wouldn't have and learned some of the history.
We were supposed to have an excursion on a glass bottom boat today, but it was so windy they had to cancel it. I was sad because it sounded pretty cool. But we had fun anyways.
After those two experiences on the island we headed back for the boat and the pools. Grace and Lilly stayed at the pools for 4 hours or more with a quick pit stop for lunch.
Grace and I went on the aquaduck which is a water slide that goes around the whole ship. It was fun. She went again with Grandpa Harold when he joined us after his nap.
Tonight at dinner our waiter told us that the crew members work for 6 months at a time. 6 months. 7 days a week. And then they get 6 weeks off. I think that is pretty crazy. When you see how hard these people work and always with a smile on their face and eager to make the guest happy and comfortable it really is pretty amazing.
After dinner we went and saw "Villains Tonight" a musical. It was ok. The girls loved it. I wish you could see Pearl dancing around this place. It is hilarious. She was bouncing all around during this performance I was worried she was going to hit her head on the seat in front of her. She didn't thank goodness!
The girls got their picture taken with Goofy and Minnie Mouse again. Pearl is always so excited when she sees them and says she wants to give them hugs and kisses and hi-fives. And then we wait in line and get up to them and she chickens out. So we have to hold her away from them while we take the picture!
I had a scare tonight. I reached in my purse to grab my wallet and it wasn't there. I ran back to the theater because I had it in there last with thoughts of someone snatching it out of my bag while the show was going. But it was there on the floor. It had just fallen out. A staff member was standing there waiting for me to come back and get it. He said if I didn't he would have taken it to guest services.
This is reason number 213 why I love Disney. Their employees are honest and helpful!
We are having a wonderful time. This is a great vacation.
