I finally put the finishing touches on Grace and Lilly's room.
When we moved into the house I had a vision of having the theme for their room be "A Garden Party" I don't know if that is very obvious, but it gave me a jumping off point.

Lilly's Bed
My dad and I made the girls' headboards. I wanted white picket fences, and I love how they turned out.
Grace's Bed
I know these two pictures are fuzzy, but by the time I went back to retake them Lilly had already gotten to Grace's bed and messed it up! I wasn't even surprised, she's such a monster!
The bookcase.... I thought about organizing all the books and making them look pretty for the picture, but then I decided, what's the point? It would only last for 5 second anyways!
I got the print from our Stake Relief Society President. She painted it years ago, and was giving them out to go along with a lesson she taught. I thought it was perfect for my girl's room, and they love it!
They also love having their own calenders! Grace understand the different days, weeks, and months because of preschool and we like to point out what events are coming up....Lilly just likes the pictures!

I filled this white cabinet with stuff the girls love, shoes, flowers, and a butterfly. But usually it's filled with Grace's "falection" (collection)! Grace loves to collect different things although she hasn't settled on one category in particular yet. She will just find something she likes and says she is going to keep it for her "falection" Although nothing stays in here permanently because she is usually decides she doesn't want to store it and she would rather play with it, and them ultimately lose it, instead!
The girl's dresser.
The picture frame as a picture of Sam and I outside the Tillamook Factory. We went there on a trip when we were dating. I found Grace sleeping with it one night, so I decided she could keep it in her room.
This poster is Sam's from when he worked in the Butterfly Exhibit in the Boise Zoo. That is were we met, so it is kind of special to us. ...I really should frame it.
This is Lilly's contribution to her room decor. Yellow Sharpie.
...and this is Sam's!
