This is the first year we got a real tree for Christmas. I've always been a fan of the fake variety, but Sam has always been yearning for the real deal, so we decided to give it a shot this year.
We heard of a tree farm from some friends and loved our experience there. All the trees were convenient to get to, but we got to pick out our favorite, and cut it down.

Turns out it was harder than he thought!
But he made a nice chair for Lilly!
Poor guy almost gave up and bought me a fake one!
Lilly stayed entertained hunting through my purse. This has been one of her favorite things to do since she was 6 months old. She knows where the good stuff is!
Success! He finally did it, and we are very impressed with our beautiful real tree!
