Plum City

We went to Plum City, Wisconsin yesterday. We were originally going to meet a friend, but his plans changed and couldn't make it, but we decided to go anyways. We found a great bakery with the sweetest woman in the world. She even gave us some of her bread to feed the trout in the towns fish pond.
Lilly just fed herself.
and loved it.

While we fed these guys...or girls...I didn't bother to check, not that I would know how!
Grace loved every second of it.

Leave it to Grace to find a place to put on a performance! We were looking at the fish, and turned around to check on Grace and she was doing a little dance on her "stage".

Here are a few of Sam's pictures. He really loves photography, and I love that we can decorate our house with his pictures.

After we were done in Plum City, we ventured over to Red Wing, Minnesota. Yes, Like the shoes! They are very proud of there boots, and have huge painted boots all over downtown. We didn't get any pictures while we were there, but we found a fun fountain, and sandwich shop. On our way out of town we stopped at a pottery place, that had some awesome stuff, and was fun to look at. Grace only broke one thing while we were there, which is kind of amazing considering how crazy she was getting. And when I took it up to purchase it, they told me not to worry about it. I guess a lot of stuff gets broken in there...they seemed pretty used to it.

We really did have a great day, even taking into account that both Sam and I were sick. I thought I just had allergies, but as the day progressed I felt worse and worse. Sam had me believing he was feeling better, he had been sick for a few days earlier, but after we got home and he made us dinner and watched the girls while I took a long hot bath, he finally let on that he really wasn't feeling good either. Have I ever mentioned that I have the sweetest husband in the world? Because I do!

Grandpa says he will build a stage for Grace to dance on here, or maybe we can just find another flat rock. Lilly looks so happy eating her bread. I love Sam's picture of the flowers and bee. Hope you are feeling better to day and can enjoy the 4th.
