After that we went to the Minnesota Orchestra. They were fantastic. They performed Aaron Copeland's Appalacian Spring and Carl Orff's Carmina Burana both were wonderful, and we had such a great night out.
Mom and Dad, I know you are reading this thinking, "Man, that couldn't be any more boring." ...but we really do love this kind of stuff, and I owe it all to you. Because you made me take all those years of voice, piano, and choir. Thank you! This is how I put them to use now... appreciating other people actually using their musical talents!
I'm such a lucky girl to have such a great guy. Thanks for the best date ever Sam! Here's to lots more to come!! (hint, hint)

I am glad all those years of driving you to Opera Choir has paid off with your appreciation of good music, but I think I would rather go to the Weiser Fiddle Festival. You both look so sharp.
