Best Date Ever.

Two weeks ago Sam took me on the best date we've ever been on. And the best part was, he planned it all and kept it all a surprise! I love surprises! All he told me was that I needed to be in cocktail attire. Although it turned out we were a little over dresses, I didn't care because I love my new dress that I HAD to get for the date. So Sam took me to Zelo for dinner. It was so delicious! I've been craving my spicy shrimp pasta ever since. Mmmmm, that goat cheese on top was so creamy and amazing.

After that we went to the Minnesota Orchestra. They were fantastic. They performed Aaron Copeland's Appalacian Spring and Carl Orff's Carmina Burana both were wonderful, and we had such a great night out.

Mom and Dad, I know you are reading this thinking, "Man, that couldn't be any more boring." ...but we really do love this kind of stuff, and I owe it all to you. Because you made me take all those years of voice, piano, and choir. Thank you! This is how I put them to use now... appreciating other people actually using their musical talents!

I'm such a lucky girl to have such a great guy. Thanks for the best date ever Sam! Here's to lots more to come!! (hint, hint)

I am glad all those years of driving you to Opera Choir has paid off with your appreciation of good music, but I think I would rather go to the Weiser Fiddle Festival. You both look so sharp.
