Our Spring Break

We had a great Spring Break this year. Actually it is our first ever spring break since Sam has been in college, because he never had one at BYU-I. So we totally lived it up. No, we didn't go anywhere, at first my plan was to just let Sam relax at home, and maybe go a few places...but on the first Saturday before Spring Break even started Sam was getting so stir crazy, it was hilarious. I actually loved it because he vacuumed, and did the dishes, and some laundry! But I also realized that in order for him to keep his sanity we had better get out and about. So we did something fun every day.

To start off we took Sam to the Minnesota Children's Museum, and had a pizza party! We also invited a few friends to go with us. Grace and Sam racing boats...Grace won.
Grace LOVES that she gets to wear an apron when they play in the water area...I think I'll have to make her one, if I ever get my sewing machine out again. Since having baby#2 it has made good friends with the back of my closet.

At the arts and crafts area they got to cut up pieces of paper and glue them on. This was grace's first experience with glue and scissors...I was really nervous about the scissors, but she did really well. I'm just waiting for the day she learns she can give herself a haircut...I'll probably cry.

The toddler room at this place is the best the kids have a blast and the parents don't have to help at all, so we get to just sit back and take a load off!

Grace going down the slide, and Kate climbing up the rope ladder.
We also went to the Minneapolis Zoo again. We go there a lot, but it's because we have a year membership and we want to get everything we can out of it. This time was awesome because it was finally warm enough to do the out side part of the zoo, and cool enough that all the animals were out and about.

See! This tiger was pacing right in front of the windows...it was awesome!

These two bears were wresting forever. It was so fun to watch. Eventually they even moved the fun and games into the big pond they have.

We also went to the Mall of America, Como Zoo, Costco, swimming at the YMCA twice, and I went to the grocery store...which I know isn't too exciting, but I got to go with just Lilly and Grace took a nap while Sam did homework. I can't tell you how much easier that was!

Now it's back to normal life, but I think it's a good thing. I was getting pretty warn out from doing so much! Which reminds me, it's Sunday at 2 o'clock. FAMILY NAP TIME!

What a fun spring break! I totally think BYU-I should throw in spring break. But way to help clean!
