We took a family vacation to the Outer Banks in North Carolina.
I was so relaxing and fun. We stayed right on the beach and enjoyed it so much.

Balukoff's!
We went miniature golfing, and the girls loved it so much we went a second day as well.
We had duck donuts...a few times!
And we went on a hike on the sand dunes.
We had fun catching these little crabs
One day we drove down to Ocracoke. It was so quiet and peaceful and we had the beach to ourselves 90% of the time.
Then we drove into town and had dinner at this awesome taco truck!
Our second time miniature golfing.
hole in one!
Grace got a hole in one. Lilly just wanted in the picture!
Pearl was more interested in picking flowers for me than golfing.
I got a hole in one on the last hole!!

Cape Hatteras Light House
We got a picture here two years ago, and I wanted to get a new one to show how our girls have grown, but pearl refused to look at the camera....
some people's children.
Grace and Sam climbed the light house, and then Lilly and I did it.
Lilly counted every stair on the way up and the way down!
We also took the girls to the North Carolina Aquarium in Manteo.
They had a place that you could get a sick plastic turtle and diagnose it and fix it. The girls loved doing that.
They also had a huge tank of sting rays, and the girls had fun touching them.

Sam found a friend!
Sam found him on the beach and somehow caught him like this. then carried him all the way back to our house, and he just wouldn't let go. It was pretty impressive really!
We really had a great time in the Outer Banks.
And we are already asking ourselves when we can go back again!
