We had a great Halloween this year. We carved pumpkins earlier in the month with some friends, and then instead of a ward trunk or treat we had a ward fall festival. We had games for the kids and then a chili cook-off and dessert in the gym. There was also a donut eating contest and a family dance. Everyone had a great time! Here are some pictures I got of the donut contest. Sam came in a close second behind Jim Pitcavage!

Then on Halloween Day we got the girls dressed up and went trick-or-treating with some of Sam's coworkers.
Grace was Cat-woman.
Lilly really wanted to wear Grace's spanish dancer costume from 2 years ago! (I love how easy she makes my job, sometimes!)
And Pearl was a butterfly with a puppy purse...because she can't go anywhere without that purse.
And her sister's coached her with how to pose.
They should go pro with their pose coaching.

Love them all. I like how Lilly know just how to hold her hands, and the tennis shoe really make the costume.
