After seeing Les Mis, and loving it so much, and reading that Ramin Karimloo would only be performing the part of Jean Valjean for another 2 weeks, I knew that Sam and I HAD to go back and see the show together before we lost our chance! We saw Ramin perform the part of Jean Valjean almost 9 years ago in London and we were so impressed with him then that we have been meaning to go to NYC and see him here, but didn't realize we had a time line to meet.
So off to the Big Apple we went. We left Saturday morning, and took our friends Gordy and Brielle Evans with us. Gordy had never been to the city so they did some sight seeing while we saw the show.
The show was fantastic. Our seats were even closer and you could see all of the actors facial expressions. I was so impressed with how much detail and emotion they put into it.
I was so happy we were able to go, and that we didn't miss our chance! We read that Ramin Karimloo's next part will be taking place in Japan....I think we will have to start planning a trip!
