My birthday was yesterday and I turned 27. It seems kind of weird because I feel like I should actually be older. Like maybe Sam and I are both 30...but we aren't. Only he is old!! ;)
For both of our birthdays we went out to Red Robin with some great friends!!
They are so wonderful they even snapped these pictures of us while we are being sung to by nearly the whole red robin staff. It was pretty fun!
Yesterday, I made a pecan pie for my birthday cake. I do like cake, but I LOVE pecan pie! So that was the winner for my special day. And the girls helped blow out the candles.
Gordy and Brielle Evans were in town house hunting, so we invited them over for dinner and they got to enjoy the pie as well! I am a pretty generous birthday girl!

The girls gave me finger paints and silly putty for my birthday. Although I still haven't had a turn with that silly putty! Lilly was very anxious for me to open her gift, but it occurs to me now that it was only because she couldn't get into the packaging by herself. After that I didn't see her or my silly putty for quite some time!

I had a great day and everyone made me feel very special! I'm just sad I have to wait a whole year to celebrate another one.
