I can't believe Easter has come and gone already! It was so early this year, but we had a great time! On Saturday we went to an egg hunt at our friends, the Richie's and then came home and had another one with our neighbors, the Shadduck's. So we have TONS of candy! But don't worry, I am trying to eat it an get it out of the house as fast as possible!!!
Sunday morning I woke up hearing Grace say, "Wake up, Lilly! It's Easter!" (kids make the holidays so much fun!)
So we hopped out of bed and had the girls search for their baskets.
Grace found her's in her favorite hiding spot.
And Lilly found her's in her favorite spot....the pantry!
We had a few meltdowns after this and didn't have time after those to get pictures of the girls in their dresses before church, but I hope to get some in the next week or two.
After church Grace was in a much better mood...thank goodness!....and we had three other families come over for Easter Dinner. We had such a good time together.
We have really loved hosting holidays at our house, and sharing those special days with great friends. We miss family on these days more than ever, but we feel blessed to be where we are and with such wonderful people.
