Grace got a special treat this Valentine's Day. Her first slumber party!! Maira came over on the 13th spent the night and then she got to spend Valentine's Day with us.

These 3 girls had a fun-filled busy day. It started off with Grace and Lilly going to preschool, and Maira went with me to the grocery store. Then we picked up Grace and Lilly and headed over to their friends Valentine Tea Party. I can't believe I forgot to take picture while we were there. The girls all dressed up in their princess dresses and had a blast playing, drinking tea and lemonade, and eating some delicious food.
When we got home from that I tried to put Lilly down for a nap, and have Maira and Grace sit down to watch a show for a little quiet time....but that all lasted for about 5 minutes and then all 3 girls were up and playing again.
We had made sugar cookies the night before, so I made some frosting and got out all of our sprinkles and let the girls go to town. When they were all done we delivered a couple plates to our neighbors that don't have kids home anymore, so I know they wouldn't already have a ton of candy!
At 6 Maira's dad and brothers came over for dinner. Maira's mom is in D.C. helping her sister-in-law who is having surgery. So all the kids had fun playing together and Sam and I had a good time visiting with Tim.
By the time all of the Richey's left it wasn't hard to convince Grace and Lilly to go to sleep! As a matter of fact, it wasn't very hard to convince any of us to go to sleep!!
Wow, it really was fun Valentine's day! I feel so blessed to have such easy people to love in my life!!
