Lilly's Surgery.

Well, I guess it wasn't really a "surgery" per say, but more of a procedure. Lilly has had a blocked tear duct since she was born. Actually, both of her tear ducts were clogged, but on cleared up on it's own. Usually they wait until the child is 12 months and then do the procedure, but we had a harder time scheduling Lilly's appointments. So she had hers done at 17 months.


This is the only picture I got of Lilly the day of at Philips Eye Institute. She had a hard time waiting for it to start. She was hungry and thirsty, and was mad that I woke her up early, and she was not a fan of her anesthesiologist. The Anesthesiologist kept trying to cheer Lilly up, I didn't have the heart to tell her that she was the problem Lilly was crying!

Now we are home safe and sound and Lilly is doing great. She was back to her normal energetic self in no time. And we are excited for these next few days to fly by because she really hates the eye drops we have to put in her eye 3 times a day, and I really hate trying to put them in. I thought it was hard to change that squirmy girls diaper...now that seems like a breeze!
