Grace got an art center (that we squeezed in between the food storage we keep in her room). She loves it.
Lilly got a huge bear from costco...and she wasn't too fond of it at first.
But Grace showed her how much fun it is, and now she's convinced.
They also both love Grace's art center...but Grace doesn't like that Lilly likes it...
The next day we had some friends over for cake and ice cream.
Stella and Grace bff's
I made this texas sheet cake. It was delicious.
Sam got the girls trick candles...mean I know, and Grace didn't even understand, she just kept blowing/spitting all over the cake. It was pretty funny. We just finally told her she did it, and put the candles in water.
At the end of the day I wanted to just get a picture of my new 3 year old...this is what I got.
I wonder where she gets it from...
seriously, this girl can not hold still for 2 seconds...unless I'm painting her fingernails, she will sit like a statue for that.
Finally, by the end of the night she had wore herself out enough that I got this picture. My cute little rag-a-muffin
The next day we flew to Boise for a few weeks to visit family. All of Sam's family got together that evening, so we had another little party for Grace and Lilly.
Lilly was totally worn out by the end of a very long day of traveling. I love this picture because you see her playing with her ears...she always does that as a comfort thing. I think it's really cute...at least I do now after two doctors appointments because I thought it meant she had an ear infection!
I love my two girls, they are so much fun. So much work, but so much fun! I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world.

Happy belated birthday pretty girls! Time sure does fly by!
My favorite picture are Lilly crying with the bear and Grace and Sam climbling the wall.
How fun! Your girls are so lucky to have you. :)
