Summer Top and Shorts.

I made this outfit about a month ago, but it just hasn't been warm enough to wear. But today sure is! Thank goodness, I'm loving the heat....but that's probably because it's only 80 degrees!! But it's not sticking around for long, so we have to enjoy it while it's here. Anyways, back to the outfit, I just love it. The shorts are adorable with the little cuff at the bottom, and yesterday I made her a khaki pair out of some maternity pants that got ruined in the wash by a red pen. I was about to throw them away, when a light bulb went off that I could make something use full out of them. ooh, I just love sewing. I think it's what all my "nesting" is going to. I'm addicted!
