20 Weeks.

As of today I am 20 weeks along with this pregnancy. It really is going by fast, and since I'm not sick any more, I'm loving every minute of it. I really am surprised how big I am, I don't remember being this big, or feeling the baby move so much when I was 20 weeks with Grace. Although I hear that's normal. But that's not the only difference I've had so far.
  • I haven't gained any weight yet. I'm almost back to ground zero after losing weight in the first trimester. The Dr. says he's not worried because the baby is growing really well. I'm grateful for this one after gaining 50 lb. with Grace, I'm really trying to be careful about eating for 2!
  • I have to force myself to eat meat. All I really want is fruit and vegetables ---Pickles are a vegetable too, right??---and candy. We have tons of it from Easter, and I've been working at getting rid of it!
  • My sinuses have been plugged up ever since I got pregnant. The Dr. says this is normal and it should clear up a day or two after I deliver. I'm not really thrilled about this, but I know there are worse things that could happen, so I'm just counting myself lucky.
  • I am not nearly as emotional as I was when I was pregnant with Grace. This one both Sam and I are grateful for! I used to just cry for no reason, which was really annoying. Now I just tear up a little at sad/happy commercials, and I can do that without anyone noticing so it's not a big deal.
  • I haven't had heartburn as bad as I did with Grace, but I remember the heartburn getting worse as she got bigger, so I'm waiting for it to get worse. Although the old wives' tale is that the amount of heartburn you have=how much hair your baby will have. And Grace had a head full, which I loved. So it might be worth it.

yay for being halfway done! I feel the same way about growing bigger faster with #2,I think I am starting to even out though. My pregnancy this time is quite a bit different too even though it is still a girl. Really makes me wonder how each pregnancy will differ.

You look so cute, alisha!!! And I think you look as tiny as ever! I also get that weird sinus congestion with being pregnant but it comes and goes, and you get used to it! :)
