The Day with Grace

Today I was watching American Idol ( DVR I love you!) And during one girl's performance Grace started to have her own little dance party. I grabbed the camera just in time to snap a few shots and I was in a hurry so sorry they are all pretty fuzzy.
She even got on the floor and rolled around a little bit! It was hilarious. sorry the coffee table is in the way.

You swing those hips, girl!

Oh yeah, she also has started to try to sing along. I love listening to her jabbering songs! It's so cute!

Before the dance party Grace wanted to go outside so bad! The weather has been beautiful lately and we have the most amazing back yard so I've been taking her out about 3 times a day, but this morning is was pouring outside.
But I could only take so much of this...

and this... "Hey Lady, I'm serious! Let's go!"

So I decided to put her jacket on her and head over to my in-laws to say "Hi."

But apparently I wasn't moving fast enough.

Once we are outside Grace turns that frown upside down so fast! Sorry this picture is so bad too, it was way dark and cloudy outside.

Grace really is a toddler now, and getting a mind of her own. She is learning to say a few words, but doesn't seem too eager to start really talking. But she sure loves her Daddy. She calls him daddy without a problem, and she calls every picture on the wall daddy, and anything she really likes daddy, and EVEN ME DADDY! I don't think that's really fair, but I figure she'll figure it out someday. I just hope she doesn't teach the next baby to call me Daddy too. That just won't go over too well with me!

I think the "Hey Lady" picture rocks! She is so stinkin' cute! I miss her! We will have to come and see you in Boise sometime this summer! I really don't think that Baby #2 will have a problem with calling you Daddy. I hope it is a boy and that he calls Sam Mommy. That would just make me laugh!

Wow, I honestly can't believe how big she is getting. She looks so old in those pictures. How did your steak turn out the other night?

I love the Daddy thing... Jennie does the same thing except I swear I heard her call me Jenette the other day! I hope that doesn't become a habit of hers ;)
